Life on the Farm

S&S Homestead Farm is a small family farm that grows food for those who live there and for others, in accordance with biodynamic processes. Students of all ages attend workshops, classes or apprentice on the farm to learn more about sustainable farming from farm owners and educators Henning Sehmsdorf and Elizabeth Simpson, who hope to instill their knowledge and love of farming in others. They share their food through the schools, neighbors, church and CSA – a blending of home, food, family and community.
